How to cover service warranty for replaced components?

Hi

How do we cover only the components that were issued, so when the assembly comes back, those components are identfied as under warranty.

Case as during Repair WIP, components are replaced.

Does it work similar way as sales order warranty? like track each serialised item along with IB instance. Items will be covered and during charges, specific item price is applied baed on contract coverage?

Note: Repair item do not have any BOM attached.
