How to create a template to run Standard Asset Retirements Report in Report Manager Standard Reports

I have referenced doc 378338.1 from the excerpt below:

From Note 378338.1  About Oracle Report Manager Minipack 11i.H (FRM.H)

Each Standard Report that will be published using Report Manager will need to be configured to output XML.  This can be achieved in one of two ways:

1. Where the Standard Report will only be published using Report Manager change the output type of the Standard Report definition to XML using the Concurrent Programs window.

2. Where the Standard Report still needs to be run generating a different output type (Text), it is suggested to use the Copy to… functionality in the Concurrent Programs window to create a duplicate of the existing program.  When copying, remember to also check the Include Incompatible Programs and Include Parameters check boxes.
