PAtch 10015566 : we apply patch 100155566 without upgrading to ATG RUP7 ?

 We would like to apply patch 10015566 and one of prerequisites is to be on ATG Family Pack H RUP 7. We are currently on RUP 6 only and our DBA is hesistant to upgrade to RUP 6. My question is, can we apply patch 100155566 without upgrading to ATG RUP7?
