Preview failed on check template for Windows 7 Word 2010

 Hello all,
I have recently upgraded to a windows 7 32 bit system, I have installed BI publisher Word 11.1.1.6, Build 5.12.110 onto the laptop. I have been testing templates that were created on a XP operating system and I have one so far that will not generate a template. 
It says preview failed but I validated the template and if found no errors. Is there a function used on my check template no longer supported? Below is the error I receive

ConfFile: C:\Program Files\Oracle\BI Publisher\BI Publisher Desktop\Template Builder for Word\config\xdo.cfg
Font Dir: C:\Program Files\Oracle\BI Publisher\BI Publisher Desktop\Template Builder for Word\fonts
