View Relationship Diagram

Is there any documentation of the "View Relationships Diagram" functionality beyond that which is documented in the Oracle Install Base User and Implementation guides?  I need to understand if there is any way to modify the "View Diagram Relationships" text shown by default in the diagram.  Also am looking for guidance on the relationship types "Replaced By" and "Replacement".  How do I save an instance to have a relationship type "Replaced By" with another instance? 

Any help is appreciated.
