Deleting jobs in Work Submitted Jobs screen that are waiting to run

If our user submits some jobs and they are in W status.  The user then goes to WSJ   and deletes a job that has the status of W which means that it is waiting to run and hasn't started yet.   The job disappears from the WSJ screen but if I go onto the AS400 and look at teh jobq,  the job is still there.   Does anyone know if there is some kind of setting that should be set so that the job deletes out of the jobq too?   Deleting it off the screen really doesn't do anything as the AS400
