ORA-12170 on one of the Node

Hi All,

I am facing ORA-12170 error on one of the node in 2NODE RAC system(10.2.0.4)

I had similar issue on 1st node couple of days ago and i found that there was some tnsentry in local_listener parameter. I have set to NULL , then was able to connect to Node 1

However, i see same error on Node2 today although local_listener is already set to NULL.

When i was trying to ping the VIP from node 1 to node2 , it is not responding, not sure whether this is the issue, if so, how do i fix this?

Also, when i try to stop & start the listener, i see the listener log generated simply as listener.log, however before stopping the listener, it was generating listener_node1.log
