ORA-600 while opening the DB in Resetlog mode

Dear Experts, 

     We have the following issues in one of our Production DB running on 9iR2 on HPUX B.11. 

Movement of Redologs to a different server by a Jr. DBA resulted in DB crash. After investigating the issues our team followed following steps for bring the DB up.

 Restored missing redo log files from backup and standby server location (completed successfully).

2.       After restore, database asked recovery for system dbf file and asking for *_0000501368.log.ora which was not present because log header was moved forward.  DB was asking for archive log for recovery  which was not present / not created by database
