R51800 takes more time to complete

Hi,

We are running the Profit Recognition build program R51800 for one our client's business & this program runs for almost 3 - 4 hrs in the month end.

 Subsequently R51444 ( Create Journal Entries ) program also runs for a long time.

The volume of Jobs is approx 50k-60k. We need to understand that is this the standard time it will take for such a volume.

 Can you pls suggest us how to bring down the time consumed by these programs.
