Can we customize CRM On demand Forecast Home page

 Hi,
We have a requirement to add a Web Link in the Forecast Home Page ( just like the "Forecast Date" ). But we could not find the "Forecast" record type in the Application customization page. Please let me know how can we change the forecast layout. Also is there any alternative solution if we cannot modify the Forecast layout.
