archives are not shifting to standby location

Hi,

i have created a physical standby of a production DB, and i have set all the parameters like log_archive_dest_1/2,log_archive_state=enable,fal_client etc, but still the archives are not shifting to the standby location, please help me to resolve this issue.

production and standby instances are on different server.
