Freight item with tax calculated

Hi

I am trying to apply Freight charges to my sales orders. I first started using modifiers and formulas which were very promising until I discovered we need to calculate Tax on Freight. Then I setup the FREIGHT item as suggested by Oracle, put it on my Sales agreement and created a sales order. Currently stuck here due to an error which I've opened another post for but I see other potential issues with this means of applying Freight.

First we as a business need to apply 2 types of Freight to each sales order.

- Standard flat rate

- Per Palllet

from what I can see using the Freight item will only allow me to enter one charge for Freight on the sales order.
