OCM Harvester 12c attempting to apply /p5567658_1038_Linux-x86-64.zip

The instructions for this patch hint that it is for the collector and for the harvester, with the latter using a smaller subset. Is this true?

The readme and all documentation for the patch are multi-platform which complicates understanding. Removing them and simplifying the instructions would be valuable for those of us who want to resolve OCM issues.

The old ccr directory was removed and the the patch unzipped. When trying to run CCRsetup, an error is returned which is not covered in the patch instructions.

"This installation is already configured for OCM. Please remove existing configuration first."

Where is the information found to replace 12c harvester ccr with a newer version?
