Sourcing - Over Award an RFQ

Hi,

We are currently reviewing the Oracle Sourcing module with a customer.

They have identified that when testing an RFQ process it is possible to request quotes for a quantity of 10 for example.  When it comes to awarding it is then possible to over award an RFQ.

The test they carried out was to ask for quotes on a line with a quantity of 10, when awarding they were able to award for a quantity of 15.  The system did not prompt or notify them that the quantity was different.

Has anyone come across this before?  Have you been able to stop a user over awarding an RFQ?  Or is this standard Oracle functionality?
