Hi,

On the GL_BALANCES table there are columns called BEGIN_BALANCE_DR_BEQ and BEGIN_BALANCE_CR_BEQ. In some instances we have these set to a value, 0 or null.

Why would this column be set to zero instead of null?

The reason i'm asking is that we are implementing oracle BI apps and the consultant says the column should be set to null and not 0.
