Is there an OS migration path from Windows 2003 (32-bit) to Windows 2008 (32-bit) for EBS R12.1?

I want to move E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.1 from Windows 2003 (32-bit) to Windows 2008, but haven't decided to use Windows 2008 32-bit or 64-bit.

I came across the MOS document "Migrating Oracle E-Business Suite R12 to Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 [ID 1188535.1]". I want to find out if there is any special migration path from Windows 2003 (32-bit) to Windows 2008 (32-bit). I noticed from the "E-Business Suite Release 12 Certified With Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 (Windows x64)" article (https://blogs.oracle.com/stevenChan/entry/ebs12_win2008_r2) that "Support of the E-Business Suite on this platform is achieved by a two-step process". It seems that EBS on Windows 2008 64-bit is a bit more involved process. Is this correct and it is easier to run and maintain EBS on Windows 2008 (32-bit)?
