Which table a particular field is located

 I am trying to locate which table a particular filed is located.

I am in the Bills of Material screen.  Once you enter the item there is a Display option where you can choose Future and Current, Current, or All.  If i click on help, then dianostics, then properties, then item, it tells me the field name it display_option.  If i look in the indented Bills screen the same process says It could also be bom_inquiry_display_type.
