Securing Weblogic Forms application using custom login page (JSP)

Hi guys
We are moving from Client/Server to Weblogic+Developer 11g (forms and reports) and would like to introduce a JSP page for login, then against the login success, call the form based application. Is it doable without involving Oracle Identity repositories? Any documents, pointers will be highly appreciated.
