11.5.10.2 : Question About Patch 9094950

Hi,
We are about to install a later JRE for our Windows clients following note [ID 290807.1] “Deploying Sun JRE (Native Plug-in) for Windows Clients in Oracle E-Business Suite 11i” and Document 125767.1 titled, 'Upgrading Developer 6i with Oracle Applications 11i'.

After having performed the patchanalysis we have determined that the following patches is needed:

• Patch  16414360 - MERGE REQUEST ON TOP OF 6.0.8.28.0
• Patch 9094950: APPLIED PATCH 8888184 RECEIVE ERRORS FRM-40723 ORA-00911 FRM-40505 (US + NLS patches)

From the README (patch 9094950) it is stated that

“ATG one-off patches do not go through independent Quality Assurance testing, and are not certified by Application products, hence there is some risk of unexpected side effects. If the fix in this patch is included in the latest released ATG Family Pack RUP or ATG_PF RUP has superseded the fix in this patch, then it is highly recommended to apply the ATG Family Pack (ATG_PF) RUP instead.”
