End-of-Life: SPARC Enterprise M-Series Servers

I found a web blog that announces the EOL for the M4000 (and others). I'm currently using the M4000 and am curious how this announcement affects me.
Unfortunately, the links on the web page for more detailed information don't seem to work. The browser says its stuck in a redirect loop.
Its unclear to me exactly what EOL means in this context? I'm assuming it means that the purchase will be unavailable at some point. Not being able to purchase doesn't affect me since I already have what I need. I'm more interested in learning how this announcement affects ongoing support for already purchased hardware? Does it mean the support price goes up at some point? (Standard support vs. extended support) Am I going to be forced into migrating to a new (non-EOL) platform at some point in time to maintain ongoing support?
