List of answers reverts back to old format

We have updated a list of answers in ODM several times but they keep reverting back to the code value. For example, the code value is CAS-Zoology and we update the answer to Zoology so that is displays in a user friendly format on webforms. A day or two later the answer reverts back to the code of CAS-Zoology. Has anyone experienced this and if so do you have a solution? Thanks!
