CAn RMAN convert datafile from 10g to 11G with different endian?

Planning to migrade a 10G database on HP to 11G on Linux. Could anyone confirm Oracle RMAN Convert Tablespace function can convert tablespace from big endian data file on 10g to little endian file on 11g?
