Suppressing modifier popup in sales order line

Hi

We have a business requirement, please suggest if its possible / advisable to do this

In sales order form, after enetering the header values,

1.User enters a line in a sales order line and the price defaults

2.Now, user wants to modify the unit selling price (either increase or decrease it) and does it

3.Once the user tabs out of the unit selling price field, we see a modifier popup and user selects the appropriate surcharge / discount and clicks OK

4.We can then see the price adjustment from Actions --> View Adjustments

Our requirement is that user doesnt want the modifier popup after tabbing out from the unit selling price
