Hindi characters are not displayed properly in PDF output

Hello,

I have couple of reports need to be produced in PDF format. I use Akshar unicode font to display the output.
The report is shown correctly in RTF / HTML formats.

PDF shows the output but some joint characters are misplaced

e.g. विनायक   is displayed as वनियक
       सिताराम is displayed as सतिराम
     
and so on for all joint characters.

When i copy the text from PDF and paste it in Wordpad it displays correctly.

Can anybody help resolve the issue ?
