Not able to delete BOM using deltion group

Hi,

When trying to detete BOM using delete group function, facing error as 'FRM-41050: You cannot update this record'.

1. This item is not available in engineering but available in inventory.

2. Its BOM is there in engineering.

3. BOM for this item is having header level information only. There are no child componenets defined.

Is it because of above two points. If yes, then what can be done ? If no, what is the issue then ?

Need help in trouble shooting this issue.
