RAC FLASHBACK steps after application upgrade - looking for advice on correct steps please

Hi folks,

First question - please be kind!

We have a 4-node RAC Primary, with a single node Dataguard Standby.

Oracle 11.2.0.2 Enterprise on Linux

This is my first venture into supporting a major application upgrade on this configuration that MAY need to be backed out if it's not a complete success.

I raised a Service Request for some support (it's very good!) but they pointed me over here for additional 'community support'.

I believe the correct process is to create a restore point and, if neccessary, use that to flashback to the restore point and the steps I need to follow are :
