Hello,
                 We are intending to deploy RMAN in our database.

                 I have the following questions:

- To use RMAN, I need the Flash Recovery Area necessarily?

- At the bank, tried to set the DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST and DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST_SIZE parameters. I could set the 2nd, but the first could not because the LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST or LOG_ARCHIVE_DUPLEX_DEST parameters would be set. In case the LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST is configured. How Do I do?
