Solaris local user accounts with LDAP authentication
Hi all,
I asked this question earlier, but the post seems to have got lost...
Is it possible (and supported) to configure Solaris so that user accounts and groups are managed locally (i.e. added to the local passwd/group file), but hand off the user authentication to an LDAP server for password checking, expiration, account locking etc... also known in some circles as "authentication only mode"?
