adcfgclone dbTier fails with could not establish the connection

Hi All,

I am performing cloning using cold backup of 10.2.0.5 database on my test instance.

While running adcfgclone.pl dbTier, it keep failing with following error

I  checked netstat -an|grep 1532, it is free and dont see any process is using

However, when i do ps -ef|grep ebstest, i could following

orarvrc  9586     1  0  Apr 15  ?         0:31 /ebstest_app/oracle/ebstestdb/10.2.0/bin/tnslsnr ebstest -inherit

Questions:

1. How can i resume the clone from last successful stage? Do i need to run dbTier everytime which takes longer time as it does relink operation?

2. Does control file creates when using COLD BACKUP?? how can i edit controlfile creation step during post clone to add custom location of datafiles etc.,?
