date format issue in comment notification

Date01's date time format was settled as "date only" , then I putted date01 into comment notification template.
In cover page tab, Date01 is displayed like "mm/dd/yyyy", but it is displayed like "mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss PM PST" in comment notificaiton.

How can I make date01 in notification displayed just like in cover page tab?
