Creating Automatically Reversing Expenditure Batches for negative items

Hi,

One use we have for Miscellaneous Batches is to create 'accruals' that reverse in the next period. We are currently on 11.5.10 and looking to move to R12.

A limitation that we experience is that if the original batch has negative entries it is not possible for the batch to reverse in the next period; so we have to enter the original batch with -ves in old period, re-create the batch the in period with +ves.

Is anyone aware of any change in functionality in R12 that would allow us to enter -ve batches that would autmatically reverse in next period or otherwise know of a patch that would allow automatic reversing with -ve entries in 11.5.10?
