Why is DISKPART showing 2 entries per LUN?

I am running a 2 node RAC on Windows 2008R2.  Last week I requested 3 new disks be added on the servers so that I could create a new DiskGroup in ASM.  I went thru the normal steps to create the partition and then create the DiskGroup.   But when creating the database I got an error saying that the second node couldn't see the disks.  I called our support guys as they had done the original presentation.  They worked on it and I finally got the database up, but only on one node.

When doing a DISKPART on each RAC server, I see a duplicate entry for each disk.  For example, if I have 23 disks, then I will see 46 entries when I LIST DISK.  Looks like the second set of 23 is a copy of the first 23.  However, those are really not true disks at all.   Further, when the 3 new disks got added last week, the DISKPART showed the 3 new disks at the end of the DISKPART list as numbers 47, 48, 49, 50,51, and 52.  Of those, only 47, 49, and 51 were true disks with space

Howdy, Stranger!
