Can a pre-upgrade FULL backup be used to recover until after upgrade ?

Hi,
Our database is in 10.2 enterprise edition.
We take a FULL backup.
Then we upgrade  it to 11.2 and we do some transactions and some archived logs are generated.

Then suppose the database crash on some disks and then disks got repaired.

My quesiton is can we use the pre-upgrade (10.2 )  FULL backup to do a restore and recover until the last archived log in the 11.2 ?

If yes, in which ORACLE_HOME should we start the restore, the 10.2 or the 11.2 ?
