Advise on Interim Approval Hierarchy changes
We have a customer who wants us to suggest a workaround for Approving Requisitions and POs as there is a big revamp in client org's Positions/HODs. But it will take time to finalise all the positions in the hierarchy(may be a month or so) and in the Interim they have asked us for a workaround for clearing the documents. Currently for some positions the documents are cleared by re-assign/delegate response to the new approvers. but they are only for time being till the final hierarchy is set also they fear audit trail issues.
We have suggested them to create new positions in the interim and assign to approval groups till the time they come up with the final hierarchy. however, we also advised if they could sendout an internal notice or circular notifying the employees and their interim positions to circumvent any audit issues. I didn't see any other approach in this case.
