Automatic Asset Number

Hi,

This is regarding Automatic Asset Numbering, the customer had already implemented the Fixed Assets for more than 15 countiries and they are using the Automatic Asset Numbering feature for the Asset Number generation.

Now we are implementing the FA for Brazil country and they want to generate the Asset Number automaticlly that too Gapless(it is Statutory Requirement).

As per my knowledge System Controls Setups are at Instance Level not Operating Unit Level, so we cannot generate the Gapless Asset number automatically for Brazil..

Just want to make sure once again, Can Oracle Fixed Assets supports Automatic Asset Numbering specific to Operating Unit?
