User Search

I have done a little research, but this method has been the best way to get answers. When you do a user search of any kind, that search box is case-sensitive. I feel like, at least at my company, not many people know that. What I would like to do is make it so that the search box says "Case-Sensitive" by default before anything is typed in there. I feel like this will save users time and frustration. Is this possible? If so, how do I make it happen? Thanks in advance!
