Cascading values from header to lines in sales orders

Hi All

Need an input, we have a business requirement where the user wants to cascade data from header to lines on the sales orders whenever there are changes on the sales order header subject to processing constraints. we tried the below ways but are not succesful

1. Using the profile option, "OM: Sales Order Form: Cascade Header Changes to Line", but this works only for 5 fields and our requirement is for more than 15 fields

2. We considered the package, "OE_Dependencies_Extn" but there is a limitation to it that it doesnt work across entities meaning it wont work for cascading data from header to lines
