Mass Additions Post (FAMAPT) completes with Status = ERROR

Please see the attached file for print screens of navigation to point of Mass Additions Post requests completing with error, including the Post Mass Additions (Report Set).  The Output and Log information is provided in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th tabs of the Excel file.

Research into each of the failed mass additions records, indicates that the ADD_TO_ASSET_ID field was indeed populated with an asset that was already retired.  I understand the failure of the records to post to a retired asset.

However, is it Oracle 12.1.3 standard functionality for the Mass Additions Post requests to complete with a status of ERROR?  Or should the requests complete normal, with the Output listing the records  that successfully posted to assets, then list the failed records as "Exceptions"?
