Repair Job completion serial number

Hi

Can someone please explain how serialized Item created for a repair order flows?

Steps as below

1. Create a repair order

2. Receive a serialized Item -assembly

3. Create job

4. Enter requirements. Here the assembly is defaulted as requirement.

5. Issue compoments

6. Complete job. But while completion, I dont see the serial number that we received and pushed for repair. I also see always the serial number status as "Resides in Stores"

(I understand that only when it is issued for a repair, the status changes to "Issued out of stores". Correct if I am wrong.)
