Populating a 'Text' Media Object in JDE from an outside source. Is this possible?

Does anyone know a method that we can use to 'import' a text media object into JDE?  I've reviewed the documentation in the Media Objects Information Center, and that would seem to indicate that it can be done if the 'imported' value is in a RTF format to allow updating the F00165.BLOB value, but no specifics are given on how this might be accomplished.  Looking at the F00165.BLOB values that are created through the JDE interface, it would seem indicate some 'unique key' value that 'points' somewhere else, and does not show the text of the media object.  Are there
