PO receiving during the month end

Hi All,

Our customer wants to continue the PO receiving during the month end/period closure process.Now as the PO periods are being closed for 2-3 days they need to stop their receving.

Even if they close the present period and open the next period,they can not update the receiving date to next period it always  takes the sysdate.

Is there any std process/ workaround  so that they can continue the receving during month end?
