purpose of GRID_HOME/log/<host>/srvm

Hi experts,
What is the purpose of log file location GRID_HOME/log/<host>/srvm in grid home? I have never seen a logfile there. I believe srvm stands for server manager but not very sure.

Is this for some backward compatibility which is not in use or for some other purpose?
