Print Country Name on Checks

Our checks currently do not print the Country name on them.  Ideally the Country would only print if it is a non-US address, but we'd rather have all print w/ Country than none of them.  We are on 12.1.3.
I've heard rumors of a check box somewhere in the settings to Print Country Name, but I have not been able to find it.  Any suggestions on how to achieve this goal?
