External tier with Reverse proxy- DMZ setup - url_fw.conf file

 We are trying to setup and external tier with reverse proxy. I have a question on the way url_fw.conf is setup.

How should the following reqrite rule be adjusted? option 1 or option 2? The default option that comes from autoconfig is 1 and it doesn't seem to work for us where as manually editing it and setting it to 2 works fine.

1) RewriteRule ^/$ %s_webentryurlprotocol%://%s_webentryhost%.%s_webentrydomain%:%s_active_webport%/OA_HTML/AppsLogin

2) RewriteRule ^/$ %s_webentryurlprotocol%://%s_webentryhost%.%s_webentrydomain%:%s_active_webport%/OA_HTML/AppsLocalLogin\.jsp

Please advise. I have done my configurations using Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Configuration in a DMZ [ID 380490.1]
