Oracle ebiz R12 in a DMZ

 Cheers, what is the best option for deploying ebiz r12 in a DMZ zone? I have seen the note 380490.1 but
it does not specify the good, the bad and the ugly of each option. what is oracle's recommendation?
If Oracle cannot or will not say it, what architechture (topology) is being most used? Any advise would be awesome.

1) Using a Reverse Proxy and an External Web Tier:
- Pros:
     allows the use of multiple domains names
     can be setup with Oracle HTTP server or third party reverse proxy server

The external webtier is required to:
  1. Restrict access to a limited set of Oracle Applications responsibilities for users logging in via the Internet
