Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Hi Experts,

I'm working on 11gr2 rac with 3 nodes on linux 5.2.

can you please clearly tell me

1.why we should have odd number of voting disks?

2.What is split-brain -syndrome and how it could avoid?

3.What is node eviction an where can we find the information of node eviction?
