AR: Journal Entries Report Summary does not match Detail

We are converting to R12 and have an issue with the seeded report, AR: Journal Entries Report.  When it is run in detail by account, the reports contains accounts which are not included on the report when it is run in summary by account.  Likewise, there are accounts included on the summary which do not print on the detail report.  I haven't been able to find any documentation pointing to a bug for this report.  Has anyone else experienced this issue?  Does anyone have a suggestion for resolving the issue?

I have also been looking for documentation which describes how this reports processes, what data it retrieves, etc., but have not found that.
