How to Implement Employee/Supervisor Hierarchy to be Used in AME Approvals
Hi,
I need to implement AME to satisfy the following requirements:
1) Requisitions
2) Purchase Orders
3) AP Invoices
I want to use employee/supervisor functionality to setup my rules but I have the following questions:
1) Do I need to setup a Hierarchy in HR when using employee/supervisor functionality in the same way that is done for Position Hierarchies? If yes, is a 'Job' Hierarchies maintained to do this?
2) I found a Metalink Note that advices to setup for each Job an Approval Authority (1, 2, 3,....) how does this work and how this relates to the AME rules setup
I am reading Note 1478693.1 and would like to understand where in my AME setup I indicate which is the employee/supervisor Hierarchy that I will use and how all of this works together with the Approval Authority assigned to each Job within the Hierarchy
