Smart Query functionality in Smart View

As per smart view documentation:

Once a Smart Query is created, you can use it for ad hoc reporting and analysis. Smart Queries can be saved, reused, and shared.

I have created a smart query and saved it. I can re-open it but my co-workers can not see it. How can I share it?

Does anyone know how this is supposed to work?
