Consolidation mapping between two different value set sizes of segments.

 Hi All,

We have two ledgers (Ledger A, Ledger . Ledger A is primary ledger and Ledger B is subsidiary ledger. Both ledgers have a different COA and different value sets. We need to do consolidation from Ledger B to Ledger A.

Here Ledger B Value sets are bigger than the Ledger A value sets. For example Ledger B code combination is 01.1020.000.1410.0000 and Ledger A code combination is 01.103.000.4520.0000. Ledger B second segment has 4 size and Ledger A second segment has 3 size.

In this situation how can we map second segment for consolidation?

Natural segment values are not same for 2 ledgers but size of value sets is same for both ledgers. In this situation how can we achieve this mapping?

Howdy, Stranger!
